Transferring service information to the engineering team is simple and straightforward, which means Engineering Base - Mobile View is always up to date. And because it is web-based, Engineering Base - Mobile View can be used anywhere too.
Marking personal favorites
With Engineering Base - Mobile View, lengthy searches for projects are also a thing of the past. Projects that employees find themselves working on repeatedly can simply be marked as favorites, allowing them to be located faster and viewed at a glance.
Markups for following up
Updating documentation following maintenance or repair is no problem thanks to the markup function in Engineering Base - Mobile View. Engineering Base uses the markup package to automatically generate tasks that then appear in the engineering department. Markups can be added in the form of text, lines, circles, boxes or freehand drawings, with the information shown as a task in the Engineering Base digital twin.
Automatic service information
Each sheet is linked to the original sheet in Engineering Base. In this way, maintenance information can be transferred directly to the right place without having to search first. The latest version of the documentation will then be shown straightaway in Engineering Base - Mobile View.
Always available on the move
Engineering Base - Mobile View is very easy to use on mobile devices such as tablets, as it was developed primarily for this purpose. Everything from plant documents to data models and diagrams can be accessed at any time while on the move. This means employees have a direct link to the software platform and can work ‘live’ in the database, putting an end to the need to print out diagrams and hunt through files.
Named license user
Licenses are assigned individually to e-mail addresses. There is therefore no need for an Active Directory account for every user, which is good news for suppliers in particular. It is possible to implement multifactor authentication at any time.
