To support the strategic development of our global project organisation, we are looking to fill the following position with immediate effect: Global Head of Project Management (m/f/d)
This key position is responsible for leading and developing the global project management organisation within the AUCOTEC Group. The focus is on the strategic and operational management of complex international software and engineering projects, as well as building effective structures, teams and standards.
The position reports directly to the Global Director Professional Services.
Your responsibilities:
- Provide functional, technical and subject-matter leadership to project managers within the global project organisation
- Manage complex international projects at management level
- Build and further develop project management structures, teams and processes
- Take responsibility for budgets, schedules, quality and project success
- Manage portfolios, resources and priorities across multiple concurrent projects
- Actively manage risks, escalations and stakeholders
- Work closely with customers, management, Sales, Product Management and Development
- Support steering committees and ensure professional reporting
- Coach, mentor and develop project leads and project managers
- Help shape agile, collaborative and effective ways of working
- Further develop project management standards, methods and governance
- Support the strategic development of the entire department and international collaboration
- Take a visible leadership role in critical and strategically important projects to ensure alignment, execution and the quality of outcomes
Your profile:
- Several years of experience managing complex software or engineering projects
- Leadership experience in an international or global organisation
- Excellent understanding of project, portfolio and resource management
- Confident use of traditional and agile project management methods
- Basic technical understanding of software development / engineering
- Experience in budget management, risk management and stakeholder communication
- Confident and professional presence at management lev
