Strong performance
At AUCOTEC, future-oriented customer solutions are likewise elaborated with commitment and creativity. Small wonder that the cooperation between RWE and AUCOTEC has been going on smoothly for many years. One example can be found in the Rhineland at Niederaußem. It is one of the three most powerful brown coal fired power stations in Europe and the most advanced in the RWE combine. AUCOTEC has delivered and is in charge of the entire software for electrotechnical planning and documentation of block K, which has been running successfully since 2002.
Tried and tested
For the construction of an equally advanced double block facility with optimized plant engineering (BoA) at the power station Neurath, RWE Power will continue the tried and tested cooperation. The commissioned subcontractors create the entire electrical documentation under AUCOTEC project management. A terminal server enables the simultaneous access of all those concerned to the program; a quality assurance tool ensures that the data remains up to date and correct. The central administration by AUCOTEC also includes comprehensive training courses, a formal check of the data and management of the project names.
Integration
AUCOTEC will also take part in the later operation of the power units: With the aid of the AUCOTEC CAE systems, the plant documentation can be integrated in its entirety into the maintenance processes.
